Drove over to Rich County on Saturday for a little coyote calling. The picture above is a shot of the hills beind the Johnson Ranch in North Eastern Utah right next to the Wyoming Border. My buddy Lenn and I were hopeful that we might be able to call one in but we came up empty. But sitting in the brush and taking in the smells of spring was enough for me. It was a good chance for us to plan our turkey hunt that is coming up in a few weeks also. We did get a glance at about 5 head of antelope before they dropped over a nearby hill. And in the end we knew that our calling was working cause we were able to call in Lenn's farm dog..
