Here are some pictures of a short hike I took last fall up Spring Hollow in Logan Canyon. This is a good starting point for some of the best hikes in this park of Logan Canyon. At the mouth of the trailhead is a pretty good sized campgroung that runs along the stream that created this waterfall.
From here you can hike back into Spring Hollow, access the Crimson Trail to the East and connect over to Mill Hollow to the West. As you climb up the Spring Hollow trail, watch for this massive boulder field. The trail will cut right across the top of it so you won't miss it but the size is amazing.
As you climb further you will be able to catch some great views back towards Logan Canyon. I hiked this in the morning and was in the shade the whole time except for a little sun at the boulder field.
Its hard to see in this picture but there was an apple tree there to the left. It still had 4 apples on it when I took this hike. I did not try and eat one though, thought they might be a little ripe
All and all I suggest this hike if you are just looking on getting out for a couple of hours before work or early on the weekend. Seems like there would be a lot of people on this trail but I never run into more than one person each time I have been here.
